Step 1: Account Setup & API Key
Get Your API Key
After signing up, postr.ie will create an api key for your profile and locate your social media keys in the settings section. This key authenticates your account with our scheduling system.
Understand the Credits System
Each scheduled post consumes one credit. If you have 3 connected platform keys (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), one scheduled post publishes across all 3 platforms for that single post action. Once your account goes to 0 you will need to subscribe to continue to use our platform.
Step 2: Connect Social Media Platforms

Connect your accounts by adding the unique key provided during your setup:
Authentication & Security
Connections run through standard OAuth protocols. We never see or store your social media account passwords.
Step 3: Create & Schedule Posts
Compose Content & Media
- Write your copy and generate instant hashtags using the built-in generator.
- Upload visual assets (Images up to high-res JPG/PNG; Videos up to 20MB MP4/MOV).
Pick Date & Time
New posts default to 1 hour ahead of creation. You can adjust the datetime picker to schedule days, weeks, or months in advance.
Peak Times: Weekday mornings (8:30–10:30 AM) and early afternoons (1:00–2:30 PM) consistently yield the highest reach.
Confirm Schedule
Click CONFIRM POST on your dashboard to lock in the automated queue.
Best Practices for Success
High-Res Media
Use 1080x1080 for square posts or 1080x1920 for reels/stories.
Target Hashtags
Incorporate 3–5 high-relevance tags to boost discovery without cluttering.
Regular Cadence
Maintain a steady schedule of 3–5 posts weekly to keep engagement high.
Calendar Overview
Switch to the Calendar View on your dashboard to spot schedule gaps.
